About
Andrea Ramirez Armada is a British-Venezuelan director, writer and senior creative based in London and raised between the USA and Venezuela. Shortly after graduating from Met Film School London, she started to gain attention for her dreamy and stylish films. Her comedy style is unique and pulls from a plethora of Latin-American, North American and European references and experiences, capturing real-life moments with authenticity and absurdity, making her point of view new and exciting.
Andrea has directed commercials and original content or created award-winning campaigns for a variety of international clients, including Sky, Spurs, Standard Chartered, HBO, Sony Pictures, NBC Universal, Viaplay, Eurosport, Premier League, and E! Entertainment Television. In 2025, she won a Gold and Silver Telly Award for her immersive installation, Diriyah: Oasis of Time and an animation film, Mustang: Les Mans.
She's currently working on her first feature, an original story about a teenager who discovers an underground magical wrestling world when she returns to her parents' country for the first time.

Andrea has been nominated for various awards in recent years, most noticeably, a Arrow, Creative Review Awards, Global Excellence Promax, D&AD pencil for her work on the Premier League rebrand with Dixon Baxi, both her recent short films Unlikely Monsters and The Phoenix Method nominated for best lockdown film at DMO Film Festival and various Liftoff festivals.
